Dummy follows Cody (Kendrick), an aspiring-but-blocked writer who happens upon her boyfriend’s (Logue) sex doll. Things take a turn when the latex Barbara (voiced by Meredith Hagner) starts talking to Cody, offering words of wisdom like, “I got news for you, babe — we’re all sex dolls until we topple the patriarchy.”
